Sagittal MRI images are oriented with rostral to the left and dorsal at the top.

 

Transverse MRI and CT images are oriented with right at the left side of the image.

 

Transverse MRI and CT images obtained in dorsal recumbency are oriented with dorsal at the top of the image.

 

Use the orientation buttons on the toolbar to create instant, correctly oriented orthogonal resliced images.
